Yes, it truly is the era of misinformation. Fact- checking is a valuable skill to have. We should teach our kids to not swallow all that they hear on the various medias as "true", or even "facts". Not many folks fact-check, though.
I remember we used to have these things called newspapers, that employed editors, and had fact- checking departments. I hear that most of them are gone now. Sad day. They were replaced by left and right wing agenda stations on TV and the Internet. Thank god for technology; now it is all about who can skew the information the fastest.
