in the process of a deconstruction and reconstruction of a mid-19th century greek revival farmhouse. some of the interior boards that were used behind the plaster and lathe on exterior walls are upwards of 28" wide... unbelievable...would kill to have some of that stuff availible to work with... so weather checked and split that i have only pryed a couple off in one piece...most of them have just made really nice firewood...they burn HOT
