He told me the brakes weren't working right , so he was trying to bring it down the mountain road using the high low shifters. I guess you can steer them by putting one side in high and the other in low and vice versa? He said he tried to shift the right side to the low range to get it to steer to the left. That is when it supposedly started free wheeling and took off to the right. I know I am going to have a heck of a time getting it out of there. My 888 Case excavator might do it. I guess the Case 450 weighs in at around 8 ton?
