I did exactly that- went with the 265/70-17. As a Michelin distributor, I had decided to go with LTX AT2s on it, and it wasn"t readily available in the stock size. Rides great, wears like iron, and ( as the speedometer calibration I purchased trying to get out of a ticket shows) less than a 4 MPH diference on the F-150 at 65 mph indicated. I plan on staying with the 265/70-17s....
