My brother near Omaha says he has no frost left in the ground and the ground is very dry. He has been watering bushes and trees for several weeks already. A wet snow in this warm weather should almost all soak into the ground slowly over the next week. That should help some to replenish low ground moisture levels. Your snow could be a blessing in disguise, drive safely.
Around here some lakes are closed to vehicle traffic and ice rinks built over flowing water are being shut down because of dangerously thin ice. It sure is a strange year for weather!
