The U.S. is the largest exporter of ag commodities in the world, having set an all time a record of 135 billion dollars in exports last year. We have the best natural resources of any place in the world is why we are able to do this. Some countries like in the Mideast have nothing but desert that is not capable of producing hardly anything in the way of food. They have no choice but to import most of their food. Many other countries have to import ag commodities like China and India to feed their huge populations. Farmers in the U.
