When I switched my 77 GMC pickup over to dual fuel propane/gas there was a noticeable power loss. So on the recommendation of a fellow who once had an automotive propane service business, I switched it to straight propane. It got its power back and pulled the 24 ft 5th wheel as good as ever.
It takes a bit more cranking on the first start of the day but after that it"s instant.
