Early on in the series, it was a 2 cyl John Deere. After Ford got to being the main show sponsor, they demanded the tractor be changed to a Ford product, so they substituted a Fordson.
Mr / Mrs Douglas drove a Lincoln convertable, the county agent drove a Bronco, other characters drove early Ford cars / trucks and in later shows a modern 60's Ford tractor was used at times.
