This is pretty techy, I need someone familiar with secured wi fi and wireless networking.
At our RV park they have wi fi with a router and transmiting tower which we pick up either with our built in wi fi adapters or maybe an outdoor wirelsss USB adapter antenna.
To make it work the "Dude" who operates it has to come to our computer and get a 12 digit number which he then goes back to his computer or router with and punches in the numbber and then we can receive internet. MY QUESTIONS
1) WHAT IS THAT NUMBER AND HOW AND WHERE CAN I FIND IT ON MY COMPUTER???????
2) IS IT MY MAC ADDRESS HE GETS???
3) IF SO HOW DO I FIND IT, when I go to control panel and network center mine (MAC address) says unavailabe
4) ORRRRRRRRR is it the number for whatever Wi Fi Adapter Im using such as the built in one or the extewrnal wi fi usb adapter AND IF SO WHERE DO I FIND THAT NUMBER FOR HIM
Im unsure if he needs some number for the USB wi fi adapter antenna I am using (internal or the external booster) oRRRRRR my computer mac addrss but regardless I cant find either, mine says unavailable (for MAC) and I cant find any ID numbers for either of my wi fi antennsa the built on or external
WHAT NUMBERS DO I NEED AND WHERE DO I FIND THEM
PLEASE DONT ASK WHY I CANT ASK HIM IM GOT GOING THERE FOR GOOD REASONS LOL THIS CONCERNS A DIFFERENT COMPUTER AND A KNOW IT ALL DUDE WHO IS HARD TO COMMUNICATE WITH
