I was just reading where the UK is considering big time welfare reform after a government study revealed that welfare recipients actually had more spendable money than the average wage earner, who also happened to be taxpayers. I hope they succeed and it catches on in the US, the confiscation of some of the peoples earnings to support other, able bodied, but irresponsible and lazy people is in itself immoral, allowing those same people to breed and expand the cesspool is nothing short of outrageous.
