Also a fairly new law in NY that you have to move over, slow down, or do something that shows a little caution when passing an emergency vehicle on the side of the road. I've always done that when passing anything on the side of the road! How do you know a door isn't going to pop open? Tow truck driver near here had his legs chopped off when a young girl smashed him into his tow truck bed. There are just so many idiots on the road.
