They certainly have their problems, but if you're willing to spend some money to FIX them, rather than just band-aid, you will have a rig that will last for a good long time. You'll hafta look to the after market, not Ford. Check some of the dedicated powerstroke or other diesel forums (thedieselstop_com). They have the answers. I'm thinkin about finding one that someone is tired of and putting the $ into it. They really are good trucks, just have their issues...
