after 24 years or so and after figuring I was smoking 2+ packs a day I decided I'd donated enough extra tax money to the govt.
I resolved to quit when the current pres decided he wanted more of my extra tax money and I believe the current Governor of my state was looking to do the same.
Made myself a promise to quit after "this" pack and leave them alone till I turn 80. I'm still good. Smokes were 5.50 a pack then and that 11 a day came in handy elsewhere for sure.
