I don't see a collapse coming. I see tough times, but it will be mainly the Gov't. not able to pay bills, then things will go similar to Greece. Gov't. will have to reduce payments, so many Gov't. workers will loose jobs and a lot of anger and some violence will follow, but there will be no point to demonstrations in rural areas. Gov't. will be forced to cut back on services, many of which will not be missed but providing some services that will be missed will provide opportunities for private enterprise/entrepreneurs to step in to fill demand.
