You would be better off to just buy a full size unit to heat your whole house. Wood pellets cost 1/2 of Propane to run. Assuming propane is $1.80 gallon. I dont know about you but I would rather give my business to Americans that produce wood pellets rather than greedy oil companies and the Arabs that produce Propane. The electric is about 1kw to run a pellet burner. I have a US stove 45,000 btu pellet burner. Right now in my living room it is 72F (yes the pellet burner is running) And it is about +15f outside. Main Furnace is broke right now due to bad heat exchanger. I have never seen the window unit you are talking about. You can buy the full size pellet burners for $1500 or so, look online on where to purchase.
