Yeah, equipment is dingbat crazy in price right now on a lot of types of equipment but here and there you can find something that is decent value for the money. I would like to upgrade my corn planter but finding it impossible for the price range I want to stay in. My choices are buy at a higher price or wait and I am seriously leaning toward waiting. The buildings here could stand some repair and we have a few fields that need lime which helps encourage waiting another year on equipment. The only thing with a modern, up to snuff planter is they are a little less stressful to run versus an older unit. I really want to get away from the blinky light monitor to something that will tell in detail what is going on with seed drop. With the new age monitors I would feel confident running later in the day/ night when I know something is helping watch my back.
