If I read that artical correctly the State of IA paid those subsidies not the feds. So Fed subsidies ended on the 1st but state subsidies are still there.
That as the posting as about, not is it's good or bad.
Also with many of the ethanol plants being bought by the oil companies and the oil companies still getting big tax breaks and other perks from the government. Then by association ethanol is still being subsidized if owned by an oil company.
Seems that most on here who think ethanol is good stand to profit by it.
