Most tractors in that range are about 20-25 years old. Look for a decent 4440. I bought a 4240 a few years ago for $17k, and it has been bulletproof, and easy to work on. Newer they are, the more complicated. I like the newer cabs better (6000-7000 series), but you'll pay more for them. Take your time- there are afew creampuffs out there, mostly private sale, for a good price.
