I would guess that with that 2 cycle mix in there, the injection pump was better lubricated than it is on pure ULSD fuel.
The cetane rating was way off, but likely did no damage to the engine. Pure gasoline without the 2 cycle oil mixed in would have been a bit dry for a fuel lubed injection pump if that is what your tractor has.
