I do dumb things more offten when I get tired. Worked a 12 hour shift at my public job then started haul'n round bales of hay a few winters ago. After I had been up for about 24 hours I was about out of diesel and stopped at the local station. The have one pump with a gas and diesel nozzle, swiped my card, grabed the wrong one, and went in to grab a mountan dew. Got down the road about 8 miles. Started knocking REAL bad and lost all most all power all of a sudden. Shut her down and coasted into a driveway. Figured out what happened and called some one to give me a pull home. Went to town and got a filer. Took ever line loose I could and drained the tank. Once I got the lines filled back up she started up fine. That was about 4 years ago and have had no trouble out of her. This was in a 93 F350 with a 7.3. Good luck.
