Daughter borrowed my diesel station wagon a few years back - you guessed it - filled it with regular gas. By the time I got it back, was running rough, caughing, barely starting. Immediately filled it up with diesel, and kept adding diesel every time fuel got down a ways. Survived with no damage as far as I could tell. Car went on to over 250,00 miles, sold it because tranney was getting a little tired. Not bad for a GM 5.7 diesel.
