Depends...........I have brought some AGM from fire alarm panels back to life.And had near new amp hour capacity when load tested. Other AGM's that had been too dry/too long. Or a different manufacture. There was zero improvement. Not the safest experiment and I caught a "blast of wrath" from management even when wearing a face shield and gloves. For the cost of the battery and the cost of man hours vs. uncertain returns and a possible "ka-boom". It's not really worth it. Better to use a new AGM and make certain the max charge voltage is not exceeded. And a large enough AGM used so it is rarely discharged 1/4 to 1/3 at most.
