I would buy a new tank. When I had well water back in the early 1960's my tank was always getting water logged. Those air volume controls were a joke. I was talking to the manager of our local plumbing supply about the problem and he said I have a fix for that with a new storage tank that has a bladder. That fixed my water logging problems.
