The manner in which these tractors are put together makes me wonder if pulling from the front end is a bad idea. Have any of You installed electric winches on tractors such as the ones I have? They all have their front ends bolted to castings on the engine. I saw a farmall cub with the whole front end ripped off from the engine. Person was jerking on the front end with another tractor as the mower under the cub got stuck on a stump. I would not be doing any jerking and it would certainly be convenient to pull from the front end of these tractors.
