Wire wheels were available on the '26 and '27 Ford model T. I have little doubt that you are referring to the same farm publication that I am looking at right now, the wheels were the first thing I noticed about the car. You will notice that the Ford in the picture is older than a '26, it has a completely different look than that of the '26 or '27 "Improved Ford". Also note that the wheels don't appear to have lug nuts, Ford wheels used five lug bolts. They are Kelsy-Hayes or Buffalo aftermarket wire wheels on an older Ford, if I had to guess I would say the car is a '24 or '25.
