I put a pair of radial tires on the front of my H maybe 3 years ago. The least expensive tubes I could find were for bias ply tires, so that's what I used. No problems in 3 years.
If those radial tires were still on my truck, there is no way I would even consider running a bias ply tube in them, but a tractor that goes maybe 5 mph is way different than a truck that runs at 65 to 75 mph.
