Seems that's going to vary a lot by climate and soil. Here in central New York, I use Seneca Wardance for early corn (bi-color SE) Incredible bi-color for mid-season corn (SE) and Silver King white corn for late season (SE). Those are my top three favorites. Silver King is great fresh and also one of the best freezer corns I've very come across.
Can't grow any SH corn here, and the old SUs don't produce near as well as some of these newer SE corns.
