I buy tractor parts now and then from the United Kingdom and sometimes Germany. Just got a new hydraulic pump for my IH from Scotland last week.
I got a check in the mail today as part of a law-suit settlement. It's for anybody that used their Vista or MasterCard charge-card for overseas purchases.
Called the "Foreign Currency Fee Litigation Settlement Fund."
It states that actual damage-claims came to $50,000,000. But, the lawyers are getting $20,000,000 out of the settlement.
My check is for $18.04. For that, I can almost take my family to MacDonalds for lunch.
I'm not complaining. I didn't ask for any of this. Never even heard about it until today.
