They have tried to unionize the oilfield every since I can remember and we always resisted and sent the union rabble packing. The result of saying NO to the unions all these years is an industry that provides some of the best paying blue collar jobs left on earth with good benefits. The company I work for never told anyone to resist the union, it was always the workers that were anti union. We took pay cuts when times were tough and I expect that it will happen again when oil bottoms out but we also got pay raises when times were flush. Give and take, thats how the world go's around, not take, take, take the way a union operates.
