Hay Red, Is that a 72? I am in the process of stripping a 72 sport custom 3/4 ton with a 1 tone rear axle and a 360 that still gets 18 miles to the gallon and the factory seals are still on the carb after 568,000 miles. You cant beat the old ones. I get 18 miles to the gallon with a 2003 Tacoma with a V 6 in it and they say that"s good. I have to ask, Have we really made that much progress?
