George another advantage is when you are in the shop working a torch all those sparks are going to a concrete foundation. All three shops we have are built on a concrete slab with 18 in side walls formed and poured concrete. I know pole barns seem cheap but in the long run our poured slab and foundation buildings really work for us. We end up with about 12 inches of concreet wall inside..See phto if I got it attached.
