Troy most sheds in Austraila are 3 sided. We probley average 30 mile winds but can get up to 55 or so but not for to long a period. Shed is all steel construction except for the posts and faces out of the main pervaling winds (worst from south west/west shed opens to north) We have never had a problem. Shed is 100'x40' with 20'bays. Dont have to worry about snow loading here ether. Shed companys even make them for the northern parts of Austraila where there are cyclones they just make them stronger and more cross bracing probley use more screws in the roof we can get away with one every corrugation top middle and bottom and every 2nd or 3rd on the other rafters. Planing another 120'x40' 3 sided shed with 30' bays with some heavier trusses left over from the lean to we put on the hay shed
