I've used various 800/900/1200/2000/2650/2850 /3250 small gennies over the last couple years at work and at buddies houses. most are asian origin.. and well.. perform as advertised. if it's new.. use it and make sur eit runs before it's , usually, very short warranty runs out. Many items either run, or experience high early failure rate.

Run some good oil in it and change it often.. same with fuel.
IMHO.. fuel / carb issues will be the biggest hill to get over.. that and not overlaoding the electrial side. keep it within rated wattsage, good clean fuel and oil changes and serviced air cleaner... etc..
