Spend ALL the time it takes to get the parts that contact the soil SHINED-UP... You will THANK yourself more than 100 times...!!!! A rusty plow is really more like an ANCHOR than a plow... I start with a 4 /2" angle-grinder with a cutoff blade, held at about a 30 degree angle (Wear a Mask) it will clean that rust off, right down to the Black Oxide under the rust but won't scratch through. The Black Oxide will scour just fine.. I like to complete the job with a "Flapper-Wheel", to get any areas I missed with the cut-off wheel May take one cutoff wheel per plow bottom.. Ron..
