back when i first started farming i pulled a two bottom with mine.did a good job in most soil conditions.I would use a 16" one bottom breaking new ground and really hard clay.Didnt have any weight though which would have helped of course.I sort of aggree with the others on the three point.While their are some good kits available,the cost of them would go a long way towards buying a good trailer plow and other equipment. Went to an auction a couple of weeks ago that had a couple of good jd sycle mowers,one was a 39w,the other a model8,one brought $10 the other $12.You can still find pretty good equipment to fit that A around at a good price.And to be quite honest ,in my opinion they work better than ones that have been converted.Only advantage i ever saw at all with three point stuff was draft control,and you would have to get pretty sophisticated with a aftermarket kit to have that on a A.
