There is no Social Security "Fund" as in a bunch of money in an account somewhere and never has been.The SS money taken in is used first to pay any SS benefits and the rest goes into the general Federal budget and the SS 'Fund' is given a IOU for it by the Feds.So the only money in the 'fund' is what the Federal Gov't can pay back and that ain't looking too good since they're 15+Trillion in debt.In other words a Ponsi Scheme thats getting ready to end the way all Ponsi Schemes end.
