I am not Dave but I was in the Ramstein area in Sept. and you should not have much of a problem with not speaking German. I can speak and understand some German but in most places there is someone that can help you out. It is a beautful area to visit. I was stationed at the Army depot in Kaiserslautern 40 years ago.
