Supposedly there is a 7.0L direct injected gas engine coming for the GM HD's in 2013 as a 2014 model (next body design).
Probably all GM trucks will be getting direct injected gas engines.
Gasoline prices are down about $2.939 around here with diesel prices not budging. With the higher expense of owning a diesel, (fuel, oil changes, filters, DEF, etc.) just for a few extra ft. lbs. of torque, just don't pencil out for me.......I'm shopping for a good gasser, too. That 454 cid would be a money saver with today's prices.......
