What I think happened, since they put these marvelous trucks on the market in the first year is that management wouldn't let the working folks do what they wanted to do, had on their computers to do and all that.
Fed comes in and asks a diversified employee base at GM, "What will it take to make this company profitable?" They got their answer, implemented what the management premadonnas wouldn't allow and as a result, GM is making good bucks, one is in my driveway that would never have happened a few years ago and.......the rest is history.
