Baloney. I ran an 800 cu in turbo boosted 400 hp Cummins big block referred to in Cummins circles as a "Big Cam" for awhile in my 18 wheeler "Rock Bucket".
That was back when diesel was $1 per gallon and my daily fuel charge was $100. At today's diesel prices, I would go broke the first week without some kind of fuel management enhancement. Problem with the old school whiners is that they whine if it rains, whine if it is sunny, whine if the sun comes up, whine if it doesn't....get a grip.
