Used to have this problem, now they swung the other way. Sweat, warm all the time, have to change socks all the time from being soaked.
When they were cold, I started with felt pack boots, soon realized I needed long johns and coveralls and hats always. As soon as I felt cold my body would shut off the flow to my feet and hands to keep my core warm.
