James is correct. "House of the Rising Sun" That song is older then the hills, Ive seen a ton of variations in the melody of course. The Animals (Eric Burdon) had the big sixties hit and its the first song I taught my son to play on the guitar when he was 12. The thing is even if youre a beginning player if you roll slowly through those chords A minor C F etc or however it goes, it sounds like youre a "real" guitar player. But after 6 months the son blew my doors off so I quit playing guitar, hes played over twenty years now and hes playing on Beale Street in Memphis (see vid below, but Ive posted it here before)
