I think where the Never-Start comes from if the fact that most wally world shoppers buy the cheapest batt and toss it in their car plus they had a lot of bad batts that were new. In any case they had a crap load of returns and warranties on the batteries.
Johnson Control or any other battery maker will build a battery to meet your price point for resale so just cause they make em don't mean it's top of the line. And I don't trust wally world to provide anything of quality. As long as thier name isn't on it they don't care!
I stay away from wally world batts for the simple reason that I can pay a little more at Napa or for an Interstate 6 miles from home or drive 25 miles to get a wally world. Seeing as how I normally needed a battery on a demand basis (like now) I can't plan buying one into a shopping trip.
