I wonder: Does Chrysler use Stepper Motors to power Dash Guages as GM does? We have concerns from time to time with the Dash Guages malfunctioning and the cause is Stepper Motor failure. Another pain in the neck from GM on our '06 Impala Chevrolet. Repair Costs most times around $75.00 and time to remove the cluster and shipping to Georgia for repair.Right now the Tach guage is not operable at all.Gas Guage flutuates from time to time also. I've never had Dash Guage failures on any car we have had until this car.
