My uncle layed right down and willed himself to die a year or so after my dad died. He would come out to the field where I was,teared up,now and then. My aunt got real bad and it didn't look like she was going to make it. She recovered,but as soon as she got home from the hospital,he just said that everybody else was gone,and with that close of a call with her,he wasn't going to go on and face being all alone. There really wasn't anything wrong with his health,but you couldn't even shame him in to getting out of bed. He pretty much just layed there and starved himself to death.
