My dad always jokingly says "getting old isn"t for sissy"s". The older I get though, the more he"s right. He"s in incredible shape and still could probably keep up with me, if not beat me. But between the aging process, more regular doc visits (don"t like those guys...), financial/gov"t forms and BS, etc. you have to be tough to age gracefully. I"m beginning to think that because of the wear and tear, aches, scars, etc. and the loss of loved ones, we do get tougher. By the way Lou, he still plays out regularly on the sax and we"ll all be together at Christmas for a gig (including my son on drums). Must be what keeps him so young.
