OK my wording may have been off because I suggested full bodies. Lets clear that up.
The Air Force produced a tally based on those records. It showed that 976 fragments from 274 military personnel were cremated, incinerated and taken to the landfill between 2004 and 2008.
An additional group of 1,762 unidentified remains were collected from the battlefield and disposed of in the same manner, the Air Force said. Those fragments could not undergo DNA testing because they had been badly burned or damaged in explosions.
So they have names and faces to put with some of these pieces/parts of bodies. 274 soldiers. Even if we bury a hand because that is all we could find is better than the landfill. To bury them in a mass grave or at sea with all the names listed because we can not identify what parts go to what soldier would be better than this.
Sorry putting soldier body parts in the city dump just seems like they are saying��. Thanks for giving your life; throw him out with the other trash and go get us another one.
