Per capita I doubt any nation has the firepower of the United States public BUT, perhaps we owe our real saftey to the fact that our government spends more money on the military than the next 14 largest military powers COMBINED! The men and women in uniform are the best trained and best equipped fighting force the world has ever seen and our government does a pretty good job of letting the world see what we are capable of.
