I assume you checked the adjustment screws on the rocker arms and found nothing loose or out of adjustment first. Then you should check the valves to be sure that none are sticking open. You can tap them with a hammer to see if any stick. The only other thing I can see would be a failure of either of the cam bearings, but that would affect all of the valves. If either bearing has failed you would find quite a bit of play in the camshaft. Just some thoughts.
