I've done that already. The property tax bill doesn't specifically say anything about us living here full time or not. What it DOES show is that we get the full-time resident tax exemption. Called the STAR exemption here in NY and Homestead in many other states.
This isn't something I ever had to think hard about before.
What really baffles me is all these new Federal and State IDs being offered to be the "final word" when it comes to proof of residency and citizenship. Everyone in our family has those IDs and yet, good. That makes NO sense at all. I've offered much more ID then our president did to get his job - yet ??
